In the south of Iran, the word “Kakaei” means seagull. Kakaei is an animated student film about a lonely young girl living in this region who uncovers the truth about herself through a series of events.
This project is deeply personal. it draws from my dreams, distant travels, life experiences, and the creative perspective I’ve developed through my studies in architecture and animation.
The animation was created using Photoshop, 3ds Max, and Lumion. Kakaei was honored with the Best Animation Film award at the Omid National Short Film Festival in Bushehr, Iran.
